Rajoo Shreshtha (Film & TV Actor)
Remember Master Raju? There was a time in the 1970s when virtually no film would be complete without the talented boy contributing his mite to it and invariably walking away with a many a scene from under the noses of seasoned performers. His first cast as a three-year-old in Parichay (1972) by Gulzar, went on to become almost a must-have in Bollywood films in the 70s, often stealing the scene from the lead actors, as in Kitaab (1977). Rajoo Shreshtha is a very senior artist of Indian film Industry. He has won a number of awards for his achievements viz.
  • President Award for Basu Chatterjee’s film ‘Chitchor’ (1976).
  • Film Fare award for Gulzar’s film ‘Saathi’.
  • Punjabi Kala Sangam Award for TV serial ‘Chunauti’ by Mr. Raj Kapoor.
He has acted in more than 200 feature films like Khushboo (1975), Daag (1973), Deewar (1975), Farar (1975), Dream Girl (1977), Woh Saat Din (1983), Baaghi (1990), Saajan (1991), Chal Mere Bhai (2000), Jaago (2004), etc.
